Grown in Zhejiang Province, Dragonwell’s character is shaped by mineral-rich runoff from surrounding hills and a steady, humid climate—conditions that support even leaf growth and high theanine levels for a calm, focused energy. Picked in early spring, the tender buds are pan-fired and pressed flat in woks, a traditional technique that gives the leaves their iconic shape and toasty aroma.
